  • Talks and workshops curated to optimize your performance as a tour guide, from storytelling to marketing to back-office management.
  • Two fabulous keynote speakers sharing the secrets of their success
  • Myriad opportunities to connect with tour operators both locally and globally.

All elements of the Global Guide Summit have been specifically planned to empower guides and help you connect with colleagues across tour genres and geographical regions.

FAQ

The 2022 Global Guide Summit is a virtual conference, taking place entirely online. It’s hosted on a platform called Campfire, where you’ll attend the sessions, network with other attendees and companies, and build your profile.

All sessions will be recorded (including Meet the Tour Operator Day) and you can watch them for up to one year afterwards.

You’ll also have access to the marketplaces before, during and after the Summit.

Yes! We expect attendance from guides around the world, as well as companies looking to meet and/or hire guides in various regions.

If the time zone does not work for you to watch live, you can watch the taped recordings (you’ll have access to the recordings for up to one year).

Eventually we hope to make the Global Guide Summit regional so that we can better tailor it to the needs of guides in different regions.  Look out for regional events soon!

The modest attendance fee gives you access to all three days of the event:

  • Two days of education, including talks, panels, and conversations on a variety of topics.
  • Social events: networking, virtual tours, evening activities
  • Tour Operator Meet & Greets, the chance to be selected by and meet with a global variety of tour operators via your guide profile, connections with local DMCs and other interested parties.

Since this is a virtual event, we do not offer refunds. It is not necessary to attend live, since you will have access to the session recordings, and your recruitment profile will be viewable by operators well beyond the conference.

There are volunteer opportunities (which will get you a free ticket to the Global Guide Summit if you’re unable to afford the cost).  Opportunities vary from moderating panels to monitoring inboxes- email us with your interest to learn more at [email protected].

Welcome!

There are two Tour Operator ticket options:

Tour Operator Recruitment Day (access to a 25-minute slot for a live presentation to our attendees)- Free

Tour Operator Enhanced Ticket (gets you an All Access Ticket to the Summit + a Marketplace listing attendees can browse)

See our industry page for more details.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].
